Silhouettes

I’ve had a few frames going up my staircase that needed some updating.

They had pictures in them of two of my children (leaving out the third child).

She’s old enough to notice now that she’s missing from the pictures…..oops!

So, I updated the wall pictures (finally)!

And, an upclose look:

I got the kids silhouettes done at Disneyland…..I think they were $7 a piece (not bad for Disneyland!)

But, if I’m going to do anything with silhouettes again, I would follow one of the tutorials that I have seen all over blogland to make my own….just type in “make your own silhouette blog” in your search engine and tons will come up.

They are much more accurate and easy to do.

Now I figure this out!

Could have saved me some money!!!!

I just pasted mine on scrapbook paper and framed in the frames that were already there!

Viola!

Easy art.

  13. How sweet! These silhouettes of your children are so much more meaningful than other art pieces would be. I bet they make you smile each time you’re on the stairs.
